Fumba Beach Lodge - Peaceful Hideaway near Kisauni
Fumba Beach Lodge is a small-scale resort located on the Fumba Beach peninsula, in the Menai Bay Conservation Area, 20 km from Kisauni. The lodge offers a large open-sided lounge/bar/dining room overlooking a pool surrounded by Zanzibari beds and hammocks. Dining options include a three-course dinner menu featuring local fish cooked in a European style with a Zanzibari twist. Guests can engage in reef dives and picnics on secluded sandbanks along the two-kilometer beach. The lodge is 30 minutes from Stone Town. The Fumba peninsula has been designated an area of outstanding natural beauty since 1998.
